The Augustus Group is pleased to introduce our new blog, with an initial focus on our Library Shelves “Top 99” Best Business Books selections. Our intent here is to encourage our growing readership to sample the “Top 99” library shelves for a somewhat unique reading and learning experience, we believe. The finalists were selected by our jury of senior executive business practitioners. The intention of this “Best” or “Favorites” roster is clearly on the practical and occasionally entertaining but not on the academic or theoretical.

Also the Augustus Group jury has cast its net rather broadly in an attempt to incorporate the realities and complexities of the present day kinetic business world, including certain international geo-political, and financial dimensions. The selections turn out to be an amalgamation of the traditional, some classic, some contemporary, and occasionally the edgy. This is intentional and we will be gratified as you find your own favorites, relevant to your business, your perceived professional development goals, and even your own life values.
